At Liebhaber & Company, we don't think finding the right bow should feel like gambling on a catalog listing. We only offer bows that are well-made with rehair in mind . Frog interiors and head mortises must be made to survive more than one rehair and not glued into place.
Our workshop, Abe Liebhaber Bows, was founded in San Diego, California in 2013. We operated out of a tiny space until moving to our current location in 2017. As bowmakers, we see it all: rehairs (more than 6500 at website publishing), advanced restoration of older bows, and retail sales. We've established this website to share what we've learned about bows with everyone. We offer only well-made bows approved by makers, professionals, and amateurs alike.
